Claim Your Bonus

All you need to get this bonus is proof of military service or evidence of employment as a first responder. To qualify in the military, you need to be active duty, US military veteran within 24 months of active duty, or a US military retiree with 20 years or more in the military. Options for proof of service include the following:

  • Military ID card
  • Certificate of Release
  • DD Form 214
  • Certificate of Discharge from Active Duty
  • Proof of leave with earning statement

To qualify as a First Responder, you must be employed in one of these jobs:

  • Police officer
  • Sheriff or Sheriff's deputy
  • Federal law enforcement officer
  • Firefighter
  • EMT
  • Paramedic
  • 911 dispatcher or operator
  • Correctional officer
  • State trooper

You may need to provide a letter from the employer, W2, or other proof of employment. If you are eligible, you may get the bonus on up to two vehicles per year. This offer includes all models in the VW lineup except the Golf R.
